Introduction
CuisineZen is a distraction-free mobile recipe application with a hands-free cooking mode. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
CuisineZen works primarily offline. Your recipes and personal data are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
Locally Stored Data
The application only stores the following data on your device, in a local SQLite database:

Network Access
CuisineZen accesses the Internet only in the following cases:
- Recipe import by URL: when you paste a link, the application downloads the web page to extract the recipe. Only the URL you provide is accessed; no personal data is sent.
- Image download: the recipe image is downloaded and then stored locally for offline use.
Outside of these user-initiated actions, the application does not communicate with any external server.
Device Permissions
CuisineZen may request the following permissions, only when you use the corresponding features:

Voice recognition is processed locally on your device. Camera images are used solely to decode QR codes and are neither stored nor transmitted.
What We Do Not Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone)
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers
- No usage data transmitted to external servers
- No cookies or trackers
- No recipe content is sent to our servers
Data Security
All data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database and never leaves it. Uninstalling the application permanently deletes all associated data (recipes, cached images, preferences).
Your Rights
Since no data is collected by our services, there is no personal data to view, modify or delete on our end. You have full control over locally stored data through the application settings or by uninstalling the app.
