Privacy Policy

Introduction

Quick Table Import runs entirely in your browser, inside Confluence, on Atlassian infrastructure. It has no server of its own.

It does not store any data, and it does not send any data to Webelisys or to any third party.

What happens to your file

The Excel or CSV file you choose is read in your browser, in memory, to build the preview. It is never uploaded anywhere: not to Webelisys, not to a third party, and not to Confluence as an attachment. When you close the panel, the file is gone from memory.

What is sent, and to whom

Only when you click Insert the table, the app sends the table to Confluence, and to Confluence only, using your own Confluence account and your own permissions. To add the table at the bottom of the page, it reads the current content of that page and writes it back with the table added. A page you are not allowed to edit cannot be changed by the app: Confluence refuses, and the panel says so.

Permissions

The app requests two permissions: reading Confluence pages and writing Confluence pages. It uses them only on the page where you open it. It has no access to your account details, your email address or your other Atlassian products.

No tracking

The app sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and contains no tracking of any kind. Webelisys receives no information about which files you import, which pages you change or how often you use the app. Atlassian, as the platform operator and as the seller, handles billing and its own operational data according to its own privacy policy.
